Articles of agreement of voyage of the brigantine Sally, 1766.

Articles of agreement, printed by Samuel Hall, Newport, filled in by hand, of voyage of the brigantine Sally to the West Coast of Africa, thence to the West Indies and back to Newport (the voyage ended in July 1767). Columns: time of entry, men's names, quality, wages per month, advance wages before sailing, wages taken on the voyage, whole wages, and wages due (last not used). Includes dates of discharge, and, on verso, receipts for advance wages. Records the death of one sailor in Nov. 1766; two sailors noted "run".
